Lesson 2: : Requirements for Completing the Food Fraud Vulnerability Assessment, and Developing the Food Fraud Prevention Strategy

This lesson builds upon the previous content for a more detailed focus on the compliance requirements, which include not only completing the FFVA/ FFIS but also conducting the risk ranking. This risk ranking utilizes enterprise risk management to define the vulnerabilities that are above the risk tolerance. These vulnerabilities will provide the focus of the development of the Food Fraud Prevention Strategy. A management system is presented in the Food Fraud Prevention Cycle (FFPC). There is a recommended method for developing the overall system that eventually addresses the question of “how much is enough” and “how to start.”
